High School Basketball Senior Year

Probably the most drama laden season revolving around the two biggest pine riding seniors to ever walk the halls of St. Francis.   Heading into 1989 all the talk was who ws going to be a starter on the basketball team..Mike or Jim Cipriani....good friend and basketball rival.   Well little did they know that a junior star was transferring and Mike and Jim would be competing for backup.  Which made the rivalry even more heated.   Well one practice afternoon Mike and Jim became a little pushy and Mike yes Mike punched poor Jim right in the face breaking his eye socket... for the rest of the season when Jim was able to get his ass off the bench he had to play with a mask.  Opposing teams were calling him Jason(friday the 13th)  All because of Mike.   When Mike did get in to the game it was the best time because he usually did something to get his "fans" in the bleachers going.  Like throwing a kid out of bounds for no apparent reason.
